Tiki Island slots is by far one of my favourite video slot games from Gamesys and found only at the best UK bingo and casino sites.
The game theme is based on a Pacific ocean island and not the village found in Galveston county in Texas, USA. Tiki Island slot features great art-work, animations but also fantastic winnings possibilities.
Tiki Island features a common 5×3 reels layout where there’s a maximum single Jackpot payout of £100,000, two different bonus games that are both fun and rewarding, Scatters that payout for just appearing on the reels, and Wilds that show up on the reels quite often to help you make more winning combinations.
In this Tiki Island slots review, we will look at each of the features and how they all come together in making one of the finest, most entertaining and most rewarding video slot games from this industry experts, GameSys.
It’s a medium-high variance/risk video slot that can provide hours of entertainment and life-changing winnings but it can also burn through your bankroll rather quickly, so employing a sound betting strategy is advised. It features great art-work and animations, a robust slot engine, bonus games, Scatter winning combinations and attractive overall RTP, which makes this a trademark game of GameSys.
Tiki Island slots in definitely one of my top 10 video slot games online (I will write a blog post on these games, I promise!), and I think it could become one of your favourites too. So take it for a spin and see for yourself.

Wilds and Scatter symbols in Tiki Island.
Tiki Island mobile slots is medium variance video slot game, some may even argue that it’s a high-risk slot machine and at times, it may really feel this way.
Just as the game can be extremely rewarding in a very short period of time, it can also drain your bankroll rather quickly if one isn’t careful enough with the stakes. And on that note is that I wanted to speak about the Scatters in game.
The Scatter symbols in Tiki Island can be a good friend and can help you stay in the game for longer. In my own experience, the ‘aboriginal’ Pacific mask (Scatter) does show up on the reels quite often, with the x3 combo being the most often.
Getting thee Scatters in view awards you a 5x total coins bet (stake size) which means having at least another three spins more at the current stake size to hit another winning combination that will help boost the bankroll. Four Scatters payout a handsome 25x stake size and hitting a lucky five of a kind combination will pay an amazing 100 times your stake.
The Tiki Island symbol is Wild in the game and as usual, this symbol substitutes all other symbols for creating winning combinations except for the bonus symbols. In find that this Tiki Island wild symbol also show up on the reels with a much-appreciated frequency. This is obviously of great help in creating winning paylines with any other pay-symbols and the Wild symbol itself.
This Tiki Island wild symbol also holds the potential for the highest payout possible in the game: £100,000. Getting just two Wilds pays out 10 x your stake but hitting that lucky combination and getting five-of-a-kind will see your bankroll increase by 10,000 your stake which at the top bet size per spin of £10 (£0.50 x 20 winlines) would be a life-changing cash prize of £100,000.
Bonus games in Tiki Island slots.
To me no video slot game is complete without at least one bonus game, and Tiki Island slots features not one but two different bonus game that can give your bankroll a nice boost.
The first of these two bonus games is the ‘Puffer Fish’ bonus which in the first five or ten playing sessions I had with Tiki Island slots seemed to be the easiest to trigger. This bonus game is triggered when getting three Puffer Fish Bonus symbols on a winning payline. The mechanics of the bonus game are simple, yet the game itself is nail-bitting and rewarding. When the bonus is activated, you’re taken underwater and into the depths of the Pacific ocean where you must choose among three fishes, two of which hide a cash prize and the other one hides the ‘Collect’ instruction and ends the game.
This means you have 66.66% chances of hitting a cash bonus prize and 1/3 chances of leaving the game. All wins during this bonus game are multiplied by the total number of bonus initiating lines. Winnings will vary depending on how lucky you get but during this Puffer Bonus I’ve won prizes between £16 and up to £150; which may just be enough to hit your profit limit for the session or give you the bankroll to keep the reels spinning.
The second bonus game in Tiki Island slot is the ‘Coconut’ Bonus game, which in my overall experience with the game, has proven to be much harder to activate. It could be just luck but it there could also be another reason why this bonus is triggered with a lesser frequency. The Coconut bonus is a ‘Pick’em all’ style of bonus. When triggered, you are presented with the Tiki’s Nuts, a traditional beach side shop, with nine (9) coconuts that you must hit to win prizes.
There are eight coconuts that hide a cash prize and one evil coconut that will reveal the ‘Collect’ symbol and end the game. More options means of course more chance of hitting the coconuts that hide a prize, so you have 8 in 9 (or 88%) chance of hitting a cash prize and only 1 in 9 or 11% chance to hit that evil ‘Collect’ coconut. I believe this is the reason why this ‘Coconut’ Bonus is less frequent, although in my last session I just kept triggering this bonus once and again.
